Volunteer/Virtus
We appreciate and encourage parents to volunteer at St. Pius X. To help ensure a safe and secure
environment for our St. Pius X students, all volunteers must go through both the Diocesan Sexual
Misconduct and Safe Environment training. A criminal background check is also a requirement.
Volunteers must be Virtus certified in order to volunteer as a chaperone for supervising, coaching, room
parent and assistants, and interested in being a Board Member. If you are already certified, you must
renew your certificate yearly by completing the online module when it is assigned @ www.
Virtusonline.org. After completion, please print the certificate and bring a copy to the front office.
Live training sessions will be announced during the course of the year. First time volunteers need to
register online, do the Fastrax background check, and pay five dollars at the front office. Sessions are
usually held in the JPII room. Thank you for volunteering because we appreciate your help!

Agradecemos y alentamos a los padres a ser voluntarios en San Pío X. Para ayudar a garantizar un
entorno seguro para nuestros estudiantes de San Pío X, todos los voluntarios deben pasar por la
capacitación Diocesana de Mala Conducta Sexual y Ambiente Seguro. Una verificación de antecedentes
penales también es un requisito. Los voluntarios deben contar con la certificación de Virtus para ser
voluntarios como acompañantes para la supervisión de los estudiantes, entrenadores, padres de familia
y asistentes, e interesados en ser miembros de la Junta Directiva. Si ya está certificado, debe renovar su
certificación cada año completando el módulo en línea cuando le sea asignado en @ www.
Virtusonline.org. Una vez completado, imprima el certificado y lleve una copia a la oficina principal.
Las sesiones de entrenamiento en vivo se anunciarán durante el transcurso del año. La primera vez que
